1-6 Guests $700/night
7+ Guests $800/night
We do offer a 10% discount on the nightly rate for 3+ nights
Cleaning Fee: $200
Special Events/Weddings:  Maximum of 45 people

Rental Policies

The Observatory is Pet Friendly ($50 fee per pet)
The Observatory is a NON SMOKING FACILITY.
Upon booking, a one-night deposit is due to guarantee the reservation.
There are NO REFUNDS.  We are happy to reschedule based upon availability.
Check in is usually at 4pm (2pm in snow season) and check out is at 11am .

Transport Charge: We can transport people/gear for $100 roundtrip per snowmobile (2 people per sled).

A two night minimun is required for major local festivals (eg. Bluegrass, Blues & Brews, The Mountain Film Festival, Telluride Film Festival) and the following holidays:

New Year´s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

No reservation is booked and confirmed until the one night deposit has been received by The Observatory at Alta Lakes, LLC.
